Hospitality has been our hallmark since 1967.
The hotel is located on the beautiful Santa Maria Beach on the southern most part of the island of Sal, Cape Verde. It is like a small village quarter full of trees and flowers.
Hotel Morabeza offers a variety of accommodation, in a charming setting, along the finest beach of Sal Island.
88 rooms and 33 suites, with terraces or balconies, are overlooking the sea or the gardens.
All our rooms are decorated in a sober and refined style and comfortably equipped.

Superior Double and Twin Rooms: 49 rooms with seaside view and 41 rooms with garden view. All rooms have bathroom with shower or shower over bath, bidet, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, refrigerator, remote-controlled colour television with satellite channels and wireless connection.
Junior Suite: 15 rooms with seaside view and 3 rooms with garden view. All of them are spacious and comfortable, these rooms have twin or double beds with adjoining living room with a sofa bed, ideal for family use (1 couple + 1 child). Moreover, it can accommodate up to 3 adults.
There are also holiday apartments for families with up to two children.
Family Suite: 4 rooms with garden view. With 2 bedrooms and a living room, which accommodate up to 4 adults. These suites are particularly spacious, ideal for a family of 4 to 6.
Duplex: 3 rooms with seaside view which comprise a downstairs bedroom with a double bed, and an open plan mezzanine floor, which is reached by a staircase, ideal for 4 persons.
Master suite: 2 rooms with seaside view. As the rooms and suites face the sea, they are naturally cooled and well ventilated by trade winds which temper the tropical sun. These suites have comfortable twin beds with adjoining spacious living room area and a bathroom with shower. These suites accommodate 2 adults. Room Amenities are direct dial telephone, refrigerator, remote-controlled television with satellite channels, wireless connection, ceiling fan, air conditioning, laundry service, safety deposit box, toilet and hairdryer.
If you prefer more independence, Hotel Morabeza has full equipped apartments giving the convenience of Self Catering facilities (such as full kitchen) combine with the comfort of a hotel service.
There one and two bedroom apartments are located right in front of the entrance of the hotel on the land side of the main complex.
DRINK & DINE
The bars and restaurants are a showcase of beach cool, too.
Take Aquarius for instance. It is part of the hotels Beach Club and comes with a seaview terrace and laid-back surf vibe. A beach restaurant, situated on the beach, with solarium and bar, an evening restaurant on a magnificent esplanade, a swimming pool, three bars and a night club for the night lovers delight.
Hotel Morabeza’s breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day. You can enjoy a fine breakfast inside, or outside on our Esplanade.
Santa Maria seaside Beach Club restaurant is definitely the most pleasant lunch spot, a la carte, grilled fish and meat, seafood, salads, pasta, … The menu mainly consist of local fish dishes enabling the visitor to discover such local specialities. Emphasis is placed on local music, and the village musicians come about the hotel daily at around aperitif time, or during the evening. The Aquarius bar is adjoining to the Beach Club.
The Tortue Bar is an undeniable spot, to begin or end your evening. This bar offers a small a la carte restaurant for dinner (at menu price), where one can enjoy a world of exotic tastes. Its Tortue that’s the real talking point here. This bar-come-restaurant has a roof terrace setting and its particularly pretty at night. Don’t miss the musical appointment and thematic evening!!!
Les Palmiers restaurant will delight you with its refined, gourmet gastronomy. A varied daily menu is offered to the half-board clients, bringing dinner and buffet breakfast and white wicker chic to the poolside.
