Scubateam diving center Cabo Verde is the only French dive centre in the Island, and is based in the Morabeza Hotel****. The official languages are French and Portuguese, as well as English, Spanish, Italian and, of course, Creole.
Come dive with us, and find an extremely diversified (Manta rays, barracudas, sharks, turtles, lobsters, nudibranchs) and unique fauna, characterized by a mix of Atlantic-Mediterranean-tropical features, including over 60 endemic species… A true “must do” for biologists, naturalists and photographers! Still well preserved, Sal Island is a place yet to be discovered and, most of all, an environment still unpolluted and without excessive tourist activities.
Less than 5 hours from the European continent… An average room temperature of 25°C, seawater temperature between 20ºC and 27ºC, bright sunny days 340 days per year. Still considered by divers a “virgin” island, and without excessive fishing activities. Here, turtles and sharks are at the top of the list of protected species.
The dive centre is located at the beach, at about 50m distance of the Morabeza Hotel.
Our dive centre offers over 19 different dive sites, with depths ranging between 11m and 45m: platforms or drop-offs, wrecks, caves, each dive site comprising distinct characteristics.
