Standing in a long line at the airport is no way to start a vacation. And it’s certainly no way for frequent business travelers to fly.

EASE is the online electronic platform that all incoming travellers visiting Cabo Verde shall access while preparing their travel. More than a pre-departure online platform registration, EASE aims to facilitate and expedite the entry procedures on arrival, mostly by making the process swifter and less bureaucratic.

Prior to departure, incoming travellers must register at the online electronic platform EASE (www.ease.gov.cv). Preferably, registration shall be done five days travel date.The registration shall be done by the traveller or through a tour operator. The registration consists of the submission of passport details and other relevant information such as arrival and departure dates, flight number and place of accommodation.

  • Citizens holding a Cabo Verdean passport, their children whenever under 18 years old and their spouses;

The Airport Security Fee (TSA) is due as a compen-sation for the services provided to air transport passengers and it is intended to cover the costs related to human and material resources allocated to ensure border security and safety as well as for the prevention and repression of illegal acts and for the safety enhancement of the civil aviation system.

The TSA is charged on both domestic and inter-national flights. The TSA amount for domestic flights remains at 150 CVE and it will continue to be charged at the time of ticketing. Regarding international flights, the TSA was set at 3,400 CVE and it will be charged at the time of registra-tion when using the online electronic platform (www.ease.gov.cv) or, exceptionally, on arrival at the Border. On arrival, TSA payments can be made in cash or credit card, although subjected to additional fee.
