Having dinner at “Chez Pastis” is not about having a tasty meal, it is not about having a nice service, it is not about being in a romantic athmosphere and it is not about sharing some laughs with your table neighbours.

Having dinner at “Chez Pastis” is about having all of this, all together!


Starter: unique on the island, we are specialised in smoked fish carpaccio, home made with our own equipment and selected aromas. It is served with capers and a citronette sauce (extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice).

Pasta: home made cheesy flowers pasta, filled with goat home made ricotta and green olives.

Main Course: Chez Pastis is famous all over the island for our Brazilian sublime filet mignon, perfectly cooked on sight on the kitchen grill and accompanied by a selection of sauces to choose from.

Wine: a selection of white, rosé and red wines from Cape Verde, Portugal and Italy can be found at Chez Pastis. Our special ones? Robertson Winery from South Africa.

Small alleyway restaurant with not enough room to spread out but it is cosy so don’t be put off because the food is good. I had the Brazilian steak. Friendly staff.
