Located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, VOI Vila Do Farol Resort is settled on the island of Sal part of the Cape Verde archipelago, in a place where time seems to stand still.
In this small volcanic island, it is possible to experience all the emotions of the Creole society made up of many cultural contaminations.
The beautiful and luxuriant nature invites you to discover the natural pools of Buracona, the salt flats of Pedra Lume and the canyon of the Serra Negra. Being very windy all year round, especially in winter, it is the ideal place for all fans of water sports with waves.
Rooms:
The Standard rooms are situated in a luxuriant garden. Some of them face the sea and are furnished in a simple and functional manner, typically of the island.
Restaurant and Bars:
With the full board All Inclusive Formula, it’s offered a buffet menu and there’s a wide selection of high quality dishes given the presence of an Italian chef in the kitchen. During meals the drinks are served on tap (natural mineral water, soft drinks, beer and local wine).
There are 3 bars: 1 in the lobby, 1 snack-bar and 1 bar by the pool, where the guests can drink soft drinks, beer and local wine, tea, coffee, national liquors, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and eat sweet and savoury snacks.
Pool:
Inside the Resort there is a salt water pool, surrounded by large solarium terraces (with shady areas), with an area reserved to children and one to diving tests. Sunbeds and beach towels (with a deposit) subject to availability.

The Resort disposes of a TV area, conference hall, toy library for children and free Wi-Fi connection at the reception. Upon payment: Boutique, internet point, Wi-Fi fast connection in the other areas of the resorts, external medical service on request, lighting of the multi-purpose pitch, table-football, kitesurf, wave surfing and diving centre
Entertainment:
Entertainment team is highly qualified and it also takes care of children, with programmes specifically studied for them.
Sport:
This island is considered as the paradise of kitesurfing and wave surfing of worldwide importance. At a charge and depending on the weather, it is possible to join the courses both as a beginner and an expert. Courses are held by popular athletes like Mitu Monteiro and Djo Silva. It is also possible to hire the full kitesurfing equipment by exhibiting an Advance badge/certificate.
